Hi friend,

This week we finally checked Niagara Falls off our bucket list.

Before seeing the falls, we stayed at Grand Island KOA—and wow, what a great surprise. Between the fishing ponds, playgrounds, pools, and family activities, it was one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed at so far.

Our first impression of Niagara Falls itself?

Honestly...it felt much more touristy than I expected.

But as we explored farther into Goat Island and got closer to the river, our perspective completely changed.

The girls even found a quiet spot to dip their hands into the icy Niagara River, and those little moments ended up being some of my favorites.
